Mentor Training and New Volunteer Orientation

This training is open to everyone but is critical for all those who are currently involved or desire to be involved with high-risk youth ministry within the Juvenile Justice System.  It will be an information, inspiration and motivation packed morning that will include:

• Overview of the Juvenile Justice Systems of the County and State
• Insight from members of the Juvenile Justice System
• Testimony from current mentors and the youth whose lives they invest in
• The Vision, Mission and Strategies of LifeQuest - Both Short-term and Long-term
• What's in a Mentoring Relationship and why is it important?
• Open discussion on sharing the gospel with incarcerated youth
• Steps to involvement for new volunteers
